We are proud to announce the Franco Harris - World Teen Football Combine and Team Challenge to be held at the Kumite Classic (www.pghfitness.com) at the Monroeville Convention Center on Saturday May 28th.
With the support of local businesses, our Professional Sports Staff is planning a Fun, Exciting and Educational Fitness weekend where Teen Men and Women can compete in our Teen Football Combine and Team Strength and Fitness Competition to WIN achievement awards and possible Scholarships helping to support their future educations and endeavors.
The World Teen Football Combine and Championships will be held on Saturday May 28th from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. It will be an incredible atmosphere, elevating the awareness of fitness and athletic skills while challenging Teen men and women around the tri-state area to compete for Scholarships & Awards! The event will also have special guest apperances by NFL Hall of Famer, Franco Harris and Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle, who will cheer participants on and give advice during some of the events. Coaches, family and friends are also encouraged to come out and cheer on their favorite teens!
The 2011 Teen Football Combine will consist of 6 events:
• The shuttle run
• The vertical jump
• The Powertech bench press
• The Kneeling Power Ball Toss
• The Passing Competition
• The Catching Competition
The 2011 TEAM Challenge (4 participants per team) :
• The Bench Press (scores from Football Combine will carry over if participating in both Combine & Team Challenge)
• The Water Jug Relay
• The Tire Flip Relay
• The Shuttle Run (scores from Football Combine will carry over if participating in both Combine & Team Challenge)

ELIGIBILITY: Any teen male or female between the ages of 13 and 19 can enter. The event will feature a Men’s and Women’s division with Awards. All participants must have proof of age with a birth certificate, drivers license/permit, or photo ID the day of the event, no exception.
To ENTER, all teens must fill out an Entry & Waiver form signed by a Parent or Guardian.
Entry fee: $20.00 Per Teen (+ $5.00 if participating in both Football Combine AND Team Challenge Events)

If sending application via mail or fax please have all documents postmarked or sent by Friday, May 20th. If you are unable to send your documents in time please email kelly@kurtangleteenchallenge.com to reserve your teens participation and bring documents and payment to registration the morning of Saturday May 28th.
